Whole-home standby generator installed beside a North Central Iowa home, the kind of project homeowners finance.

A breaker panel doesn't wait until you've saved up.

Neither does a sump pump that finally gives out. NCIS offers financing through Service Finance Company, LLC, so a major repair, replacement, or installation doesn't have to sit on the back burner while you figure out how to pay for it all at once.

Overview

We've partnered with Service Finance Company, LLC to give homeowners and businesses a way to break a large project into payments that fit an actual budget instead of draining a savings account in one afternoon.

Financing is available across every trade we handle, heating and cooling, plumbing, electrical, and generators and energy solutions, and it can be used for repairs, replacements, and new installations alike. The same licensed NCIS crew does the work either way. The only thing that changes is how you pay for it.

All financing is subject to credit approval, and the specific terms available depend on the project and your application. That's not something we can quote over the phone before you apply, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. What we can do is tell you what's generally available, help you size the project honestly, and answer the questions homeowners actually ask before they apply.

How It Works

A few things worth knowing going in.

Financing runs through Service Finance Company, LLC, not through NCIS. You apply, SFC makes the credit decision, and we schedule the work. Here's what the program allows before you ever fill anything out.

  • No proof of income required
  • Loan amounts up to $100,000
  • Rental and investment properties qualify, the home doesn't have to be your primary residence
  • Mobile homes are eligible*
  • Past bankruptcy is workable once discharged for a year with new credit established*
  • Available on repairs, replacements, and new installations alike

About Approval and Terms

  • All financing is subject to credit approval
  • Terms depend on the project and your application
  • One person on the application must own the property
  • A co-applicant does not have to be an owner
  • Mobile home applicants meet standard SFC eligibility
  • Past bankruptcy applicants meet standard SFC eligibility

We can't quote you a rate over the phone before you apply, and we won't pretend otherwise. What we can do is walk you through what's available for a project like yours, so you know what you're looking at before you commit to anything.

What It Covers

The repairs that don't pick a convenient week

A furnace doesn't pick a convenient week to fail, and it usually happens in January, at night, with the wind chill sitting well below zero. A sump pump giving out during spring melt, or a generator you keep meaning to install before the next ice storm knocks the power out for three days, aren't line items most households have sitting in a checking account waiting to be spent.

Financing exists for exactly those moments, and for the less dramatic ones too: a water heater on its last year, a panel your electrician looks at and shakes his head over, an AC that finally gives up in July.

It covers work across everything NCIS does:

  • Furnace, air conditioner, and heat pump repair or replacement
  • Water heater, sump pump, and other plumbing system work
  • Electrical panel upgrades and major electrical repairs
  • Whole-home generator installation
  • Full system installations across any of the trades above

Good to Know

How the program actually works.

01

Credit approval decides the terms

All financing is subject to credit approval. The rate, the term, and the amount you qualify for depend on the project and your application, which is why nobody, including us, can hand you a number before you apply.

02

No proof of income required

The application doesn't require income documentation, which removes the usual paperwork step at the front of the process.

03

Loan amounts up to $100,000

The program goes up to $100,000, which covers a full HVAC replacement, a whole-home generator, a panel upgrade, or several of them in the same project.

04

Rentals and investment properties qualify

The home doesn't have to be your primary residence. Rental and investment properties qualify, so a landlord replacing a furnace in a tenant-occupied house has the same option a homeowner does.

05

Mobile homes and past bankruptcy

Mobile homes are eligible, and a past bankruptcy is workable once it's been discharged for a year with new credit established. Both are subject to standard Service Finance Company eligibility requirements.

06

Who has to own the property

One person on the application must own the property. A co-applicant does not have to be an owner, which makes joint applications workable when only one name is on the deed.

Financing is offered through Service Finance Company, LLC. NCIS is enrolled in the SFC Financing Program as a home improvement contractor. SFC makes the credit decision and holds the loan; we do the work. *Mobile home and past bankruptcy applicants are subject to standard SFC eligibility requirements.

Financing FAQs

Questions we hear most often.

Who provides NCIS financing?

Financing is provided by Service Finance Company, LLC, a nationally licensed sales finance company and an approved FHA Title I Lender. NCIS is enrolled in the SFC Financing Program, which offers in excess of fifty financing solutions, including promotional and standard installment terms. All financing is subject to credit approval.

How much can I finance?

Loan amounts are available up to $100,000. The amount you qualify for depends on your application and is subject to credit approval.

Do I need to provide proof of income?

No proof of income is required to apply. Financing is still subject to credit approval, but you won't be asked to produce pay stubs or tax returns to get through the application.

What can financing be used for?

Financing is available across every trade we handle: heating and cooling, plumbing, electrical, and generators and energy solutions. It can be used for repairs, replacements, and new installations alike, whether that's a furnace in January, a water heater that's finally leaking, an electrical panel upgrade, or a whole-home standby generator.

Can I finance work on a rental or investment property?

Yes. Rental and investment properties qualify. The home doesn't have to be your primary residence, so landlords and property owners have the same financing option a homeowner does on their own house.

Do I have to own the property?

One person on the application must own the property. A co-applicant does not have to be an owner, which means a joint application still works when only one name is on the deed.

Are mobile homes eligible?

Mobile homes are eligible. Mobile home applicants are subject to standard Service Finance Company eligibility requirements, so the specifics come down to the application itself.

Does a past bankruptcy disqualify me?

Not automatically. A past bankruptcy is workable once it has been discharged for a year with new credit established. Past bankruptcy applicants are subject to standard Service Finance Company eligibility requirements.

What interest rate and term will I get?

The specific terms available depend on the project and your application, and all financing is subject to credit approval. That's not something we can quote over the phone before you apply, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. What we can do is walk you through what's generally available for a project like yours before you commit to anything.

How do I get started?

Call us. A real person answers, 24/7, and can walk you through what's available for your specific project before you commit to anything. If the work is already scheduled, mention financing when you call and we'll take it from there.

Getting Started

Talk it through with a real person.

The most direct way to talk through financing is to call us. A real person answers, 24/7, and can walk you through what's available for your specific project before you commit to anything. If you'd rather start in writing, send a service request and tell us financing is on the table.
